“I am very impressed by the standard of the students and the obvious hard work that has gone into preparing for the display,” he said. “I congratulate all the award winners and the organisers on what is clearly a well-run and successful club.”

Sasori Karate Dojo – also known as Karate Kids Hemel – has been based in Hemel Hempstead for 34 years and prides itself on not only teaching a martial art but also building the character of the children and creating a friendly club where they like to socialise.

The club is managed by husband-and-wife team Chris and Marie Green, and in January they will be launching Mini Karate Kids for three and four-year olds.

The sessions will help toddlers to learn important skills such as balance, co-ordination, confidence and concentration before moving on to the regular training sessions at five years old.

For more information about training at either of the classes please call Marie on 01442 244504 or e-mail Sasori@talktalk.net.
