It was a busy weekend for Tring SC at the Hemel Hempstead Birthday Open Meet as 33 swimmers produced 71 PBs and 18 top-three places.
Nearly all of the team set a PB, with medals won by Tilly Beckwith, Molly Bradley, Callum Bullock, Rosie Cave, Nathan Gething, Clem Waterhouse and Chloe Woodruff .
Woodruff achieved medal positions in nine out of her 11 events, including four golds. She took a total of 16 seconds off her PBs, with the biggest gains in the 200m freestyle and 200m butterfly.
Tring head coach Steve Aldred also noted an impressive bronze for 10-year-old Rosie Cave in her first competitive attempt at 100m butterfly.
“It’s great to see some our younger swimmers making such good progress and being rewarded for their commitment to training,” he said.
