Six wins from seven as hot Tring hit form

TRING Hockey Club enjoyed an unbeaten weekend, recording six wins from seven matches.

The Ladies’ Seconds bagged a 5-1 win over Royston, despite being 1-0 down at half-time. Zoe Skells equalised, before Katy Hart (3) and Ella Whitehead sealed the victory.

The Ladies’ Thirds, meanwhile, stay top of the league after a 3-0 win against Luton. Jenny Stokes and Molly Kempster were amongst the goals.

And the Ladies’ Fourths came out on top against Milton Keynes. Tring went behind before Frankie Wright and Katie Turnbull gave them the lead. MK equalised but Charlotte Butler (2) and Sophie Busson sealed the win.

Elsewhere, a Matt Hyde hat-trick earned a 3-2 win for the Men’s Seconds against Maidenhead, while the Men’s Thirds secured a 3-2 win over Old Merchant Taylors thanks to goals from Ben Holman, Rob Lloyd and Greg Walton.

The Men’s Fourths drew 1-1, and the Men’s Vets crushed Indian Gymkhana 12-0.
