Kings Langley Cricket Club have announced their captains ahead of the start of the 2014 campaign.

The club has opted to maintain stability, after making good progress in recent years.

Speaking about the season ahead, head of cricket Kevin Rolfe said: “We are really excited about the coming season and grasping the opportunity that the league changes have given us.

“Our first team are up for the challenges of the new Division One and our other three sides are looking to go well and to nurture the strong junior talent we have at the club.”

The first team will continue to be led by the established pair of Christian James and Mark Brazier, while the seconds have Tom Clark at the helm assisted by the ever-reliable Tony Morton.

The thirds are again skippered by Tim Gould with Andrew Colquhoun as vice-captain, with Tony Thompson leading the fourth XI in the new regionalised division.
