A late kick from captain Will Wood was enough for the TringRugby Academy to beat Northampton 18-15 and secure their place in the LV Plate final.

With time running out and the scores locked at 15-15, Wood stepped up to kick the winning points for his side in dramatic fashion.

Man of the match Jack Hunter did Tring proud again with another outstanding display, and the team will now eagerly await the outcome of the other semi-final.

The final of the competition will take place on April 27, and details of the fixture can be found on the club website www.tringrugby.com
