Second gross place went to Berkhamsted’s Ben Pierleoni with a score of 75 on count-back from third-placed Nicolas Lewis of Bush Hill Park GC.

In the nett competition, prizes are awarded to those who have not won in the gross category, and first prize was scooped by Hartsbourne Country Club representative Aaron Deyong with a score of 58.

Second nett prize went to Jack Rose of Brookmans Park GC with a score of 60, while third nett prize was won by Joseph McCarthy of Shendish Manor GC with a 62.

Shendish hotel manager James Barker presented the prizes, while last year’s captain Ivor Gould assisted with the scoring.

Next year’s competition is scheduled for Friday, October 30 2015, and the entry form will be on the Herts Golf Union website as well as the Shendish Manor website.
