Raiders shoot down Herons

Berkhamsted Raiders U18 managed to overcome second-placed Herons in their final Watford Friendly League game.

Man of the match Dan Rennison, Seb Cotton and James Wade, who was named Manager's Player of the Year after the game, all scored after Raiders went one down.

Oscar Jackson was Players' Player of the Year.

To the U11s and Raiders Red beat Chorleywood 4-1 thanks to Ben Ranger's double, plus strikes from Dan Macey and Hugh Hurley. Toby Hendy was fantastic at the back.

Meanwhile brilliant braces from Eddie Khan, Mason Davis and Orefe Akinseye gave Hemel Town Youth Red a 6-3 win over Harpenden Colts Cosaires in their last game.

It was a loss and a win for Chipperfield Corinthians against Oxhey United. They lost the first game 1-0 but thanks to Tom Longbottom, Christian Panayi and Louis Dunham won the second 3-0.

Woodhall Wanderers U15s won through to the Senior League Cup final thanks to a 2-1 extra time victory over Acord Raiders.

They went into added time at 0-0, and despite going one down won through Jason Potts and Liam Cowing strikes right at the death.

Joe Picton was outstanding for Acorn.

In Division One the U15s drew two apiece with Hemel Aces thanks to Silky Gakou's double strike, with Sam Munier man of the match and Josh Sear superb in between the sticks.
