Sharp posseses a wealth of experience in high level rugby league .Capable of playing standoff, loose forward and in the halves, he offers versatility to the squad and the club hope he can also offer some off-field advice through his knowledge semi-professional game.

Stags coach Troy Perkins said: “I am really pleased to have Chad on board. We were looking for an experienced ball player and Chad fits the bill. We are looking forward to having Chad play in the Gateshead friendly in early February.”
