Watford FC sessions keeping kids off streets

MORE than 50 youngsters turned out for Watford fun day in Grovehill.

One of a number of days run by Watford Community Sports and Education Trust, the session, between 10am and 3pm on Tuesday, saw kids take part in a football tournament, face painting and street dancing.

"It gives kids somewhere to go and keeps them off the street," said organiser Rob Walter.

The Onside 11+ Twilight sessions, which are part-funded by Barratt Homes and the Big Lottery, will be running across Dacorum throughout this week.
