Police have made arrests in connection with a spate of shoplifting from a supermarket.
The arrests follow a series of pictures released by the police in their hunt for thieves stealing from M&S in Dolphin Square, Tring, during the Christmas and New Year period.

A 22-year-old Aylesbury woman was charged with theft from the store on October 7, 2009 and was given a fixed penalty notice.

Another arrest was also made, but was no-further-actioned.

Police have recently introduced high visibility patrols in the store.

They have also been working with M&S to prevent any further shoplifting.

The increase in patrols came after the police had made four appeals in a month at the start the year.

To report information about a crime, call the police non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
