The next recital in the International Organ Festival Society’s concert series at St Albans Cathedral takes place on Saturday at 5.30pm.

At the keyboard will be Stephen Cleobury, for 30 years the director of music at King’s College, Cambridge but also a noted organ virtuouso who has performed all over the world. Music by Elgar, Howells, Matthias, Parry, Stanford and Peter Hurford is on his playlist, and although there’s no charge for admission a retiring collection will be taken in aid of the International Organ Festival Society.
