Arts festival aims to cut a real Dash

Doors open tomorrow on the first major event of this summer’s borough-wide Dashfest programme.

The three-day arts festival getting under way at Boxmoor’s St John’s Church comes under the umbrella of the Dacorum Arts, Sport and Heritage Festival, which runs until September.

Hosted by Music at St Johns, the feast of art and activities features a packed programme including woodturning demonstrations and ostrich egg painting. It’s open from 10am to 6pm tomorrow and on Saturday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday. Admission is £2.50, with accompanied children getting in free of charge.
