Tring-based Folk Band JiggeryFolkery will be holding a Ceilidh to celebrate the start of the summer holidays next Saturday (July 19).

It is a Scttish barn dance, with a caller to teach the dances. Anyone can join in regardless of experience. It’s great fun and a good way to meet other local people and you can even bring a group of friends.

It is suitable for the whole family, and has an early start to encourage adults to bring children too (7-10pm).

Tickets are on sale at Tring Brewery for £8 (£5 children and concessions). It will be at the Nora Grace Hall in Tring – formerly the Red Cross Hall. Bring your own alcohol. Email jiggeryfolkery@hotmail.co.uk or call 01442 828866 for more information.
