Juggling schoolwork and sessions, the members of Berkhamsted-based band Comrade Cycle will be heading over to St Albans tonight for their second gig at the renowned Horn venue.
Jack Hudson on guitar and lead vocals, Rhys Emmas on guitar, Casey Cronyn on drums and Matt Lee on bass all met at the town’s Ashlyns School.
They will be supporting As Elephants Are, and looking to build on a fanbase attracted to their indie rock style, influenced by big name bands like Foals and Bloc Party.
As Elephants Are are fresh from performances at the this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, and are currently playing events across the UK.
Also playing will be two local bands, Franklin and Doghouse Roses.
The action starts at 8pm, tickets are available on the door or from www.ticketweb.co.uk/event/77271.
