The Mad About Waddesdon festival, now in its eighth year, transforms the grounds of this magnificent National Trust manor on the outskirts of Aylesbury into a spectacle of local talent.
On Saturday and Sunday the gardens will be filled with performances from local schools, groups, individuals and amateur and professional artistes.
There will be workshops for activites including belly dancing, hula, musical theatre featuring songs from West End shows, street dance and even sing and sign classes for babies.
A total of 2,500 performers are confirmed for the 2013 programme including fire entertainer Simon Chainey who will give two displays on Saturday as well as leading circus skills and street performance workshops.
The Aviary Glade will provide an alternative to the North Front, with a performance stage situated there and refreshments will be served there too.
The festival is open from 10am-5pm each day and tickets cost £28 for a family, £11 adults and £6 children.
The Music at Waddesdon concert on Friday evening helps underwrite the cost of the festival, and this year sees the return of Jools Holland and his orchestra with guest Roland Gift. Tickets £35 from the booking office on 01296 653226.
