When a band claims the British Blues Awards accolades for best band and best album they’ve got to be worth a listen – and King King can lay claim to both titles.

They picked up the gongs at the 2012 awards and kept right on playing, and they’re booked in at the Maltings Arts Theatre in St Albans on Saturday night as part of the St Albans Music City 2013 programme.

King King only hit the road three years ago, but they’ve established a fearsome reputation to boss the blues scene.

Virtuoso frontman Alan Nimmo leads the line, backed up by some of the hottest talent available.

Tickets are £12.50 but they’ve been selling fast, so call 0844 870 0887 to check availability
