PACK up the family and a tasty picnic and head down to Berkhamsted Cricket Club next Sunday to enjoy a summer’s evening under the stars, accompanied by a little light opera, jazz, dancing and comedy.
Pitch Perfect is the result of professional singer and avid amateur cricketer Phillip Brown innocently mentioning that he’d been on stage with Pavarotti during a match one afternoon.
Under pressure from the team he then performed an aria in the dressing room and was persuaded to put his voice to good use and organise a fundraising concert.
Along with his wife Kathryn Jenkin and a host of other singers and performers including master of Cuban dance Idalberto Alcala and his dance partner Sarah Rodriguez who will perform a new show, families can look forward to fabulous entertainment.
Berkhamsted Cricket Club has been going for 125 years and supports a thriving junior club as well as catering for the adults.
Perfect Pitch will be at the Berkhamsted Cricket Club on Sunday, June 26, gates open at 4pm.
Tickets are available from TravelTime, Berkhamsted High Street on 01442 879787.
