Stop horsing around and audition for Full Monty

Tring Festival Company is still struggling to recruit an ethnic actor to play the part of Horse in a production of raunchy stage show The Full Monty.

Despite public appeals and three rounds of auditions, no one has come forward for the part.

Now producer Donna Wright has launched another appeal imploring an actor to strip off, groove his heart out and sing signature tune Big Black Man.

But the requirements have changed slightly, thanks to a stipulation in the small print.

Donna said: “The show’s licence allows us to change the name of the song to Big Latino Man, so anyone of Latino origin or anyone who feels they can can act with a good Latino accent would be welcome.”

Rehearsals have already started for the show, with curtain up scheduled for October at Pendley’s Court Theatre, and the rehearsals are held every Sunday evening.

For those wanting to audition, call George on 07958 718922 or Donna on 07734 365346 for more information.
