Four short comedies played by four sets of actors is the hook to Duets, the latest production by the Watford-based Centralian Players at Abbots Langley’s Henderson Hall this week.
Playwright Peter Quilter, who penned the West End hit Glorious!, created this fast-moving comedy and Linda Hirst is producing.
You can catch Jonathon and Wendy on a blind date and hoping to get it right this time even though they’ve never got it right before, Barrie who is not interested in women and Janet who is determined to change his mind, Shelley and Bobby who are finalising their divorce in a cascade of cocktails while on holiday in Spain and Angela, who is marrying for the third time to the dismay of brother Toby.
The show opens on Thursday night and runs until Saturday, and tickets are £7, £5 concessions.
The curtain goes up at 7.45pm, call 01923 227392 or firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve yours.
