GRAB the rare opportunity to see an amateur performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar when the musical theatre course at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts present the musical this Saturday.
18 year-old Harrison Davies who’s in his third year of sixth form is playing Jesus. He’s already appeared in major roles in Tring Park’s performances of Sandy Wilson’s The Boy Friend and Gershwin’s Crazy for You and hopes to go to performing arts college next year.
The musical theatre course provides sixth form students looking to forge a career in the field with a strong grounding in singing, dancing and acting - the essential skills for a musical theatre professional.
Recent graduates are currently appearing in the West End and in television drama series on BBC and ITV.
Jesus Christ Superstar will be at the Markova Theatre, Tring Park on Saturday, January 29, 7.30pm.
