THERE’S fun for all the family next Sunday when the Hospice of St Francis hold their annual garden party in the beautiful gardens of Ashridge Business School.
Grab the chance to have a good look around the rarely opened Humphry Repton designed grounds which boast immaculate gardens and blooming rhododendrons, browse the fabulous range of stalls, listen to the live music, and indulge the children with all the kids’ activities on offer.
Auberge du Chocolate and Neals Yard Organic Remedies are just a few of the new stands displaying their products this year - there will be more than 30 on offer for shopping enthusiasts.
The Pimms Bar is back again and local company Jolly Huckster’s Bar will be selling locally brewed beer.
Ashridge Delicious will provide freshly cooked paella and tartiflette, sausages and French baguettes, as well as a selection of French olives for nibblers.
And Berkhamsted’s Scoops ice cream parlour will be selling a selection of their Italian ice creams.
Youngsters will love the circus skills workshop, Punch and Judy show, and the face painting area, and the Jolly Jazzers jazz band will add to the party atmosphere.
Community fundraiser Sarah Ajder said: “The garden party is a fantastic family day out and we are very grateful to Ashridge Business School for generously hosting us again this year.”
The Hospice of St Francis cares for seriously ill people and their families but requires £3.5 million a year to operate - attending the garden party is a great way to help raise vital funds.
Ashridge Garden Party takes place at Ashridge Business School, Berkhamsted on Sunday, May 22 from 2pm to 5pm.
