TWO teens will step off the top of a tall building to raise money for charity.

Emily and Sarah Kay, pictured left, from Cotterells Hill, Hemel Hempstead, love adventure, sports and challenges.

The sisters are pupils at Hemel Hempstead School in Heath Lane and Sarah has completed the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award.

Now they have signed up to abseil down the 100ft Dixons Retail building in Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, for the Northchurch-based Hospice of St Francis, on Sunday, September 25.

Sarah, 17, said: “I love to take on a challenge and am really excited to be taking on the abseil. We’re hoping to raise money to support the hospice, which helped care for one of our friend’s mums..”

Emily, 14, said: “I’m a bit nervous about the height but I can’t wait to do it – I’m sure my friends and family will come along to watch too.”
