A Level results: Rudolf Steiner School

Youngsters at Rudolf Steiner School are celebrating after students received the results they were hoping for with this year’s A Levels.

Student Sam Buckton was marked out for particular success, after achieving four A*s and one A grade to secure a place at Cambridge University.

Meanwhile His fellow pupils Toby Fitzpatrick earned two A*s and two As, whilst Felix Rummel collected three A*s.

Felix, who plans to study chemistry at either Manchester or Sheffield, told the Gazette: “I was very pleased when I got my results, I wasn’t quite expecting this.

“Long-term I’d like to go into research, or work in either the oil industry or finance.”

School spokesman Chris Triplett said: “All or almost all of our students have either got their first choice university place or are taking a year out.

“We are very pleased with the results that are coming in, overall they are very good.

“This is only a very small year group but they seem to have done very well.”
