A hair salon has launched a competition to find the face of their very vintage summer campaign.
Steve Lupton Hair searched for ordinary people from Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead to undergo a ‘modern vintage’ makeover and win the chance to model for the Castle Street salon’s window display.
Creative director Kate Lupton said: “The idea behind it is that vintage can be worn by anyone, of any age. The 11 finalists were transformed with 1940s and 50s-inspired hair but with a modern twist, making it easy to re-create.”
Berkhamsted’s Shoot Me Studios and local tailors William Young London were also used for the shoot.
The creative team now want to know who pulls off the vintage look best. An online vote starts today at ‘Steve Lupton Hair - Berkhamsted’ on Facebook.
