FORMER Gazette editor Adam Hollier has caught the fundraising bug since leaving the newspaper to work for a good cause.
Adam, 40, who lives in Tring, has secured a place in this year’s London Marathon and will be raising cash for two organisations – cancer charity Maggie’s and Asthma UK
His wife Sam persuaded him to apply for a place in the famous race after she completed it in 2010.
Maggie’s, where Adam works as a media co-ordinator, provides free practical, emotional and psychological support to anyone with cancer.
He said: “I see day to day the good work that Maggie’s does and the help and support it offers people.
“I also chose to support Asthma UK because when I was born and through my early years I had very bad asthma and I know first-hand what a debilitating condition it is.”
