Children with special education needs in Uganda were treated to bags of clothes equipment and money to support their education thanks to a village church.
The congregation of St John the Baptist Church in Aldbury donated a computer, a guitar, £300 and clothes to the Kakunyu School.
Rachel Wetherall, who is the daughter of church vicar Jo Wetherall, travelled to the school with her partner Stephen Skett to deliver the gifts.
Rev Wetherall said: “The amount of clothes was overwhelming.
“This week, we got a really nice letter from the school telling us they were going to use the money to finish the boy’s dormitories and to buy water tanks.”
