BUSINESSES are being asked by the Mayor of Dacorum to donate unwanted fabric to raise money for a good cause.
Councillor Bert Chapman is urging companies from the Maylands Business Centre and members of the Maylands Partnership to ‘bag it for Bert’ and give something back to the community by helping raise funds for the Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care.
Coffee and cake will be served in the business centre at 10.30am on Friday, July 27, for business chiefs who are being asked to give unwanted clothes or fabric which will be sold to rake in cash.
The hospice is a Tring-based charity that works to give hospice care and support to more than 2,000 local families a year in their own homes. To get involved, contact Lisa Devayya at Dacorum Borough Council on 01442 228000 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
