A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital with suspected leg fractures after coming off his bike.
The Herts Air Ambulance was called in at 3.20pm today (Tuesday) after an accident in Great Road, Hemel Hempstead.
But the man, aged in his 30s, was taken to Watford General Hospital by land ambulance.
He is believed to have come off his black Yamaha motorcycle as he travelled towards Adeyfield Road.
Great Road was closed at the junctions with Adeyfield Road and Longlands and was due to be re-opened by 6pm.
Investigating officer, PC Owen Nee, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was driving along the road around the time of the collision, or anyone who saw the motorcycle on the road shortly before the incident, to please get in contact as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Nee via the non-emergency number 101.
