A businesswoman from Tring is celebrating after her innovative bra product reached the final five at a national awards ceremony.

Elle Terry-Dawson’s Hospital Bra was a runner up in the Best Cosmetic Surgery Product or Device at the MyFaceMyBody awards in London, missing out to Nagor Breast Implants.

Elle, who owns and runs Gorgeous lingerie boutique on Tring High Street, said: “I am so proud. We were the only bra product in the whole competition, and to get down to the final five out of over 200 entries is just fantastic.

“To think the winner has been around for 34 years and Hospital Bra has only been around for less than six months, it’s pretty amazing.”

Elle attended the glitzy awards ceremony at the London Lancaster Hotel with her mum and they rubbed shoulders with famous faces such as radio presenter Toby Anstis and Abigail Clarke from ITV1 show The Only Way Is Essex.

The pair also shared a table with some of the team from the prestigious Aurora Clinics – the cosmetic surgery company which uses her unique Hospital Bra and winner of Best Aesthetic Clinic category on the night.

The themes of the awards bash were masquerade ball and Narnia. Elle said: “There was a long red carpet where they were doing interviews and photos and then you walked through the wardrobe into Narnia, where there was snow falling down. It was absolutely beautiful.”

The Hospital Bra is a unique, patented post-operative design made of naturally-antibacterial bamboo fibres. { |For more information, visit the Hospital Bra website here.}
