A company that started just over a year ago has praised the Gazette’s role in its growth.
Golden Giving, in Stocks Road, Aldbury, helps charities and good causes increase revenue by getting sponsors to pay running costs so more of what people fund-raise goes to where it is intended.
Yessica Perez, of Golden Giving, said: “Our success has been thanks to our local Gazette, who nine months after our launch, wrote our story. Since the publication of the Golden Giving story, more and more charities around the world have asked for our support and they have now become our charity partners.
“Also, shortly after the Gazette tweeted our online story, our followers increased by 200! Our followers include businesses, charities, donors, fundraisers, county councils and helpful organisations, like Charity Labs who, after reading our story, has partnered with Golden Giving.
“We would like to recognise the Gazette for supporting genuine local businesses gain credibility and media attention. Our online story on twitter has reached thousands, and has allowed us to welcome new sponsors and partners who share the Golden Giving mission.”
