Ambulance, police and fire crews were called to deal with a two-car crash on a petrol garage forecourt this afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene at the Shell garage in Warners End, Hemel Hempstead, at around 1.15pm to the collision between a black Volkswagen Polo and a black Ford Fiesta.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof of the VW to a free a woman in her 40s who had become trapped as a result of the incident.
She suffered suspected neck pains and was taken to Watford General Hospital for further treatment.
Police assisted in the recovery of her vehicle and the scene was cleared by 2.15pm.
