A TEA party with a 1930s theme helped raise more than £700 for Guide Dogs.
Tea and cake was served up to guests at the Hemel Hempstead Social Centre for the Blind on Friday to mark 80 years of guide dogs in Britain.
A charity stand at the Harlequin shopping centre also helped bring in funds, with the two events raising a total of £715.10.
Guide Dogs is encouraging people to join its fundraising ‘go for 80’ drive to mark the milestone. The good cause is calling on people to get sponsored to do something for 80 minutes, from dancing to sitting in a bath of baked beans.
