CYCLISTS are being urged to get involved in a wheely fun challenge for charity.
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) has launched its first big event of the year – the Chilterns Cycle Challenge – to be held on March 27.
Those taking part will be able to choose from a 10-mile family route, a 35-mile route or the ultimate 75-mile challenge.
TV personality Fern Britton, who is helping to launch the event, said: “I’m delighted to support IRHH’s first ever Chilterns Cycle Challenge. I already feel very involved in their work — having met some of the charity’s amazing nurses.
“Join me and make this first-ever event for Iain Rennie a huge success.”
The launch party will start the event at Kingsbury Square, Aylesbury, featuring a BMX break-dancing team, music and refreshments.
The 10-mile route will be based around Aylesbury, while the 35-mile route takes cyclists as far as Bledlow Ridge and back.
The 75-mile route will follow the boundary of the current IRHH nursing catchment area.
Entry costs £15 for adults and £7.50 for children aged up to 16, while under-fives go free.
Entrants are also urged to try and raised £150 in sponsorship.
