A group of colleagues from Berkhamsted-based company Ten2Two completed a 10k run in a bid to raise money for a local charity.
John O’Sullivan, founder of the commerical resourcing organisation, ran the central London route with colleagues Ursula Chauvineau and Jo Foley for the Dacorum Community Trust
The trust is a self-funded organisation that makes small grants to local people, organisations and charities in need.
They may help a new community group get off the ground, provide equipment for a child or adult to overcome their disability or help disadvantaged children fufil their dreams.
John, 51, said: “The trust is helping people around you, but you just don’t see it. It’s really hard for them, because they’re under the radar.”
The trio have raised around £210 so far, and are hoping to be up to the £250 mark by the end of the week.
All three completed the run in one hour and three minutes in the sweltering heat alongside 25,000 fellow runners. For more information, visit www.ten2two.org and www.dctrust.org.uk.
