A TEAM of volunteers will have the chance to ensure a town beauty spot is kept up to scratch.

Dacorum Borough Council is looking for people to come forward and join the Friends of Tring Memorial Garden group.

The team will be led by the council’s Parks and Open Spaces Officer Robert Cassidy.

He said: “Residents who use the garden are best placed to advise us on improvements.

“The group is an ideal way for our residents to help us keep the park looking its best.

“Anyone can get involved. Volunteers can dedicate as much or as little time as suits them.”

The garden, off High Street, has been nominated for a Green Flag award by Tring Town Council following a £50,000 refurbishment project.
