A man who was meeting his friend was forced out of his vehicle and his car stolen in Highfield, Hemel Hempstead.

The 23 year old victim was approached by another man who got into his car in Thumpers and forced him to get out at around 10pm on Monday, July 20.

There was an argument between the two men outside of the car, before a third man arrived.

They over-powered the victim and the duo made off in the car - a silver Mercedes.

The first suspect is a white man, aged 30 to 35, around 5ft 9in tall, of stocky build, with short hazel coloured hair and wearing a red short-sleeved shirt.

His accomplice is also white, around the same age and height, of average build with short blond hair and wearing a white sleeveless vest.

PC Francis Mungai, from the Hemel Hempstead local crime unit, said: “Thankfully the victim was not seriously injured but has understandably been left shaken by the incident.

“A number of people are believed to have spoken to the victim after the incident and offered to help him and I am appealing for these people to contact me. I would also like to hear from any else who may have witnessed what happened or has any other information which could assist the investigation.”
