Police have issued a warning that rowdy behaviour will not be tolerated after officers were called out by upset residents.
Homeowners in Akeman Street, Tring, called in police just after midnight on Saturday.
They reported a crowd being rowdy and using bad language.
When officers arrived, the group was dispersed peacefully.
Tring Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Adele Hopkin, said: “Any form of antisocial behaviour is unacceptable and can have a negative impact on people living in affected areas.
“In order to build a full picture of antisocial behaviour in an area we rely on reports from the public on when and where it is happening.
“I would urge people to continue to report any incidents to police via the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222.”
