The police want to question these two men in connection with a robbery last night at a Co-op store in Tring where a member of staff was threatened.

Two offenders went into the Silk Mill Way store at 9.30pm and forced the staff member into the office where they threatened and demanded money but left without taking anything.

The first suspect was wearing a black Nike top with a red logo, black Nike gloves with a white logo on the back of the hand and black jogging bottoms with three thin stripes down the outer leg.

The second suspect was wearing a black Nike hoody with a nylon section at the shoulders and nylon hood and sleeves. It also had a white logo on the chest.

Det Sgt Craig Flint said: “Thankfully no-one was injured during the incident and nothing has been taken from the store. Nevertheless this is an extremely serious incident and it is vital we trace those responsible.

“Whilst the suspects have their faces hidden I would like to appeal to anyone who may know who the people pictured are.

“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the suspects before or following the incident, possibly when they didn’t have their faces covered, to contact police.”
