WORKS are well under way to repair dodgy boilers in a scheme of 82 flats, according to the housing association in charge.
Boilers have been switched on again in 10 homes on the site at Gadebridge Point in Hemel Hempstead, after flues were installed incorrectly.
Emma Crump, spokesman for Hightown Praetorian & Churches Housing Association, said: “The number of teams working on the flues has been increased, which will speed up the rate at which the flue works are completed.
“Residents have told us how well the contractors have cleaned up. We have also received some excellent feedback about the standard of the work to ceilings.”
