POLICE have confirmed the name of the 21-year-old man who was murdered in Hemel Hempstead as Billy Dove.
Billy studied IT at West Herts College and worked at Bourne End Motor Services.
His place of work is closed today out of respect and West Herts College will be releasing a statement about its former student.
Billy died after being stabbed in Hemel Hempstead town centre at 1.30am on Sunday.
Two 17-year-old boys from Hemel Hempstead have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are being questioned by investigators.
Det Supt Mick Hanlon of the Beds and Herts Major Crime Unit, said: “Investigations are under way but at this stage it is unclear as to exactly what happened.
“The area would have been busy at the time and I would ask anyone who has not already spoken to police to call us with information.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this time.”
