A DOG walker could help police track down thieves who mugged a teenager in Hemel Hempstead’s Gadebridge Park.

The 15-year-old boy was roughed up by two youths just before 5pm on Sunday leaving the young victim with a swollen left eye.

Two teen boys first tried to engage the youngster in conversation close to a public toilet situated within the park before taking his wallet.

The first offender is a white boy aged around 15 who was wearing a black coat and jeans while the other one was a black teenage boy, who had a cracked tooth, and was wearing a jogger top with a red stripe and a baseball cap displaying a gold and silver emblem.

Det Con Victoria Coleman said: “I am keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. I am particularly keen to speak with a member of the public, who had been walking their dog in the area and who spoke with the group, to come forward as you may have information which could assist our investigation.”
