A team of runners took part in the Berkhamsted Half Marathon at the weekend in memory of a Tring mum who died of cancer last month.
Family and friends joined together to remember keen runner Lisa Langford, who died aged 37.
The team are taking part in a series of fundraising events for the Willow Foundation, which provides special days out for families affected by cancer.
Last August Lisa and husband Adam, along with her two boys Luke and Jake, had a day out in London and saw the Lion King.
Lisa also did a presentation at the Willow Foundation’s carol concert in St Alban’s Abbey at Christmas.
Lisa’s brother, Jonathan Reeves, said: “Lisa was a very keen runner and used to help organise park runs in the area so it seemed appropriate that we should get a team together to take part in the Berkhamsted Half Marathon.
“Lisa was a kind-hearted person and very generous with her time and the Willow Foundation was her chosen charity. The charity was great and the family got a lot out of their days out which did them both the world of good.”
Other fundraising events in the future include the London to Brighton 100k walk and the London 10m run.
