CHRISTMAS shoppers were able to share their prayers this festive season thanks to one charity shop’s unique tree decorations.
Visitors to the Way Inn Centre, in High Street, Berkhamsted, were invited to add their own decorations to the Christmas tree in the form of their very own personal prayer.
The tree became covered with the prayers written on gold and silver angels and red stars, which were free for people to place.
The prayers were then collected and prayed for in ceremonies at churches around the town over the Christmas period.
Manager at the centre, Peggy Sear, said: “The tree was excellent and it was totally filled up.
“We were really moved by people who came through the shop especially to put prayers on the tree.
“It was such a simple idea, but a great thing to do.”
