A fitness fanatic father has taken on an epic push-up challenge for charity.
Rob Tudor, 39, of Apsley, has spent every day over the last 10 months doing push-ups – already completingmore than 40,000 and even continuing alongside his wife while she gave birth – with two months still to go.
Rob was challenged to the year-long task after be by an old university friend to raise money for a charity set up in honour of his son, who has the fatal genetic condition Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Rob said: “I met Alex at university and like most of his friends was devastated to hear about his son Harrison being diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy – something that would drive a lot of people into a downward spiral has driven Alex onwards and upwards and I am in awe of what he has achieved.”
Rob hopes to raise £500 for Harrison’s Fund by the end of the challenge on December 31. Visit justgiving.com/Rob-Tudor-pressup for more or to donate.
