SARACENS coach Paul Gustard will be competing in his fourth marathon in as many weeks on Sunday.
The ex-player and current Saracens coach ran marathons in Northampton on Sunday, April 8, Brighton on Sunday, April 15, London on Sunday, April 22, and this Sunday he will be running the Milton Keynes Marathon – all in aid of the Hospice of St Francis.
The players and coaches of Saracens have teamed up with the hospice and pledged to raise enough money to provide three full-time specialist nurses for the Northchurch hospice after fullback Chris Wyles’ mother Jessica was cared for by the hospice last year.
After the London Marathon last Sunday Gustard said: “I am absolutely shattered.
“That’s three in two weeks now and I now have to get myself fully recovered for Milton Keynes next Sunday.
“St Francis is a small hospice and a small charity and any money that we can raise for them will be of huge benefit”.
