Five firefighters are hoping to raise as much money as possible for two charities by climbing the UK’s three highest mountains within 20 hours.

Dan Bathurst, Warren Moxham, Brendon Laing, Jed Caligari and Adam Newman will begin their challenge at 5pm on Wednesday, June 26.

They will be driven between Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Mount Snowdon in Wales by Hemel Hempstead Fire Station colleagues Jon Batchelor and Andy Walker.

They are fundraising for The Fire Fighters Charity and DEBRA, which looks after people with skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa.
