He has spent the majority of his career with the Herts force, having previously worked in the Protecting Vulnerable People unit. He also served 10 years with London’s Metropolitan Police.

I like to read and spend time with family

Painting the garden fence

Martin Luther King so I could better understand the struggles of the time, Peter Sellers for entertainment, Ann Frank – 
amazing what she went through, Sam Cooke to sing and talk and Paul Weller for style

If the world was ending in 2014, what would you do 

Spend more time with my family

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

The building of the Pyramids. It is amazing how they did this given they had no mechanical cranes etc

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A photographer or James Bond – but only Sean Connery!

What was the last film 
you watched?

Zero Dark Thirty (Billed as “the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man”, the film is based on the decade-long manhunt for Osama bin Laden after September 11 in the United States)

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

We, as police officers, have to make tough decisions every day

What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given or received?

A voucher for a well known women’s fashion retailer!
