Patients of Rennie Grove Hospice Care are set to benefit from a charity wedding dress sale after a manufacturer kindly donated hundreds of brand new gowns.
Brides to be are invited to the two-day sale at Tring Park School on April 5 and 6, where 100 per cent of all sales will go direct to the charity.
All the dresses are brand new – some of which are one-offs by exquisite designers and worth thousands of pounds each – and ladies who are interested have the chance to browse and try on the gowns in one of four different three-hour sessions over the two days.
The charity’s director of retail and trading Lesley Blencowe said: “The sheer scale of this generous donation has been staggering.
“We now have a huge stock of beautiful wedding and bridesmaid dresses, and we need to find buyers for them all to translate this generous donation into money to help our nurses care for local patients.
“We have such a large selection in every size from 8 to 20 so we can guarantee plenty of choice of styles for everyone. The added bonus is that we can keep prices low and offer incredible value for money.”
This isn’t essential, but those who do will receive discount vouchers towards the cost of their chosen dress. Those who choose not to register will still be able to go along on Sunday, April 6.
