Staff at the Tring-based charity which started life more than a quarter of a century ago as Iain Rennie Hospice at Home are delighted with a new website which has just gone live – and keen to show it off.
The new resource links in with a change of name for the good cause, which since 2011 – when it joined forces with the St Albans-based Grove House day hospice – has been known as Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care
Now the parent charity is called Rennie Grove Hospice Care, and the website that comes with the new name is packed with information for patients, families, and health professionals, spreading the word about how Rennie can help.
Director of fundraising & marketing Gillian Barnett said: “Our new website is one of the first items to display our new name – although readers might also have seen new shop signs springing up.
“To minimise cost we’re rolling out the new look as we open new shops or refurbish existing premises.
“We’ll do the same with all our promotional items, so supporters will see a combination of the old and new look for the rest of this year, while we gradually update things as we run out.
“We’re really excited about this fresh, new look for our organisation and our new website.
“It’s the first time we’ve been able to pull together online the full range of services that we offer.
“We had been updating three separate websites since merging so this will cut costs while making it much easier for local people to find out how we can help them or they can help us.”
