A BRAND new work experience plan, putting Kings Langley on the map, is on track to get under way later this month.
The unnamed scheme designed to give jobseekers work experience in a range of village businesses over a two-week period was the brain child of two business owners.
Jeff Folkins of delicatessen and wine merchant Dalling & Co and Richard Smith, owner of the Langley Butcher, created the scheme which is on track to get its first participants started from May 28.
Six businesses have already signed up to the scheme, and another 15 are on track to join.
The idea has been praised by employment minister Chris Grayling and could be rolled out across Herts.
